ROTI CHAI Street Kitchen & Dining Room
I’m usually not a big fan of Indian cuisine but this spot in London took me by surprise! It’s located near Marble Arch. My favorites were paani puri (gol gappa), mixed chaat, lamb curry, chilli paneer and naan. Every dish was bursting with flavor. Chaat and paani puri had that nostalgic Karachi taste that I’m always craving in Seattle. Seattle doesn’t have good Indian or Pakistani cuisine option. I can write an entire essay about that. The lamb curry had a kick to it, absolutely loved the spices and seasonings used in that one. Lamb is a usually a very tricky meat as it has this smell if not cooking or marinated properly. Great going, Roti Chai, you made me love lamb again!
